Here we are, the last episode of our Missions Series! Chris and Dee Dee Pierson (parents of our resident TF&HK wellness guru Jes Looney from Nourishing Life by Jes) join me in a conversation about how mission work looked 30+ years ago versus how it looks now. The Piersons were missionaries in New Zealand for 12 years before cell phones, Facetime, AND quality missionary care. Oh how different the world looks now.
Chris now works in Human Resources for Wycliffe Bible Translators doing staff development, spiritual formation, and overall missionary care. He helps the missionaries stay healthy, stay informed, and stay on the field. And Dee Dee is the Children’s Director at her local church in Northwest Arkansas, teaching and equipping the youngest generation to love Jesus, own their faith, and find their role in the Great Commission.
