THREE MEN & A LADY

“Let’s say the desire of our hearts is to get married tomorrow. And we do get married tomorrow. That’s not the end all, be all of our faith. That’s not the end all, be all of our relationship with God. I think that if we were to marry tomorrow…God would use it to teach us how He loves us. God would use it to teach us how to better love another person. God would use it to expose our own selfishness. Down the road, God would use it to teach us about a father’s love to a child….There’s something bigger beyond just get married.” Clete Seyle

We are continuing on in our Relationship Series with another singles panel. In our last episode, we had three lovely ladies (Lindsey Watson, Anna Reynolds, and Lindsey Kirk), who shared all their highs and lows of living this single lady life in 2021. AND NOW we are introducing you to three single men, who were willing to come on and talk about relationships openly and honestly with me, a single woman and complete stranger, as well as all of us.

Like the women, these fellas are in different ages and stages of life and each bring their own, unique perspective and wisdom. Matt Slavik is back on the pod to represent the 30-somethings; you may remember him from Episode 18 in Season 1. He is joined by Ben Pukas and Clete Seyle. Ben—rep’ing the 20-somethings—is a youth pastor in Searcy, AR; he brings crazy wisdom for only being 25! He gives so much hope to that younger generation. Clete, our 40-something Gen X’er, is a teacher/coach at a small private school in Bozeman, Montana. I know you’re now wondering how in the world did I get a guy in Montana on this podcast?! Well, he happens to be best friends with Matt, which proved to be an added bonus when it came to their lively banter. Clete not only brings his wonderful personality, but also his deep, encouraging words to those stuck in discontentment. Honestly, all three men were hilarious, and we had such a great time. 3 hours of audio’s worth! 🤣

I feel privileged to have been a part of this conversation, honored that these three men would speak so openly and honestly about such messy topics. It’s really most single girls’ dream to dig into the brain of a single man, and I got to do just that. I can only hope that our conversation can bring you the encouragement and giggles that it brought me. ENJOY!
